Purchasing a Building

I would like pricing on a certain building with these certain features, can you provide me with this information?

Due to the various sizes, styles and custom options available, we don’t post our pricing online. But, you can request pricing information by filling out our build a shed form. Choose your favorite shed style and add any custom features you’re looking for. Then, one of our online sales facilitators will email or call you with more specific information about the shed style you chose. Or, you can visit your local Cook Shed Dealer for more details and a chance to tour our sheds in person. Find your local dealer today!

Does Cook charge high interest rates if I choose the Cook Rent-to-Own Program?

With Cook’s Rent-to-Own program you don’t pay any interest on your shed. Here’s how the Rent-to-Own Program works:

Each month you pay, the money is applied to your lease. But you're not just renting it. We're also applying it to your purchase option. So, at the end of your rental agreement you own it!If at any time you want to purchase your building fully you can do so with no penalty.

Why do customers choose this option?

If at any time the building becomes a financial burden, you can simply return it with no damage to your credit. With standard financing options this is not possible. If you decide you have outgrown your building you can trade up to a larger building without losing your initial investment.  At any time you’re able to pay off your building without a prepayment penalty.  Cook does not check credit or tie up credit that you may need for larger purchases like cars and homes.  We know many of our customers need a risk free option to get the storage solution they need right now. If at any time your financial situation changes, then you can simply let us know and return it with no penalty to your financial future.

Are there any penalties if I decide to pay my building off early through Rent to Own?

No, customers can pay off their building at any point during the lease without incurring any penalties.

Do you offer a discount to veterans or active military?

Yes, we do! At Cook Portable Warehouses, we deeply value the service and sacrifice of our military personnel. As a token of our gratitude, we proudly offer an exclusive military discount, saving you $200 on your next purchase of our high-quality storage solutions.

Delivery & Setup

How do Cook’s delivery and set-up professionals add value to my purchase?

At Cook, we maintain control of every aspect of our business including the delivery process. Unlike many competitors, we don’t hire local contractors to deliver your building. Our professional fleet are personally invested in the success of our company and genuinely care about every customer and building they deliver. Visit our Testimonial page to hear what our customers have to say about our delivery service.

When will I be contacted to schedule the delivery of my new building?

It is our policy to contact every customer, at least 2 days prior to delivery, to schedule a date and time for delivery. That person must be present to accept delivery of the new Cook shed. If you receive a message from our fleet department, please call our toll free number at 866-793-4089 to confirm your delivery arrangements. On the day of delivery, you will receive a courtesy call from our delivery professional to verify ground conditions and that you are present and ready for delivery.

Is it necessary for me to be present during the delivery process?

Yes, it is important for the person that completes the order form to also be present at the time of delivery to sign the remaining paperwork and accept delivery. If for some reason this isn’t possible, someone must be added to the paperwork that will be financially accountable. Or other arrangements must be made to obtain signatures on paperwork prior to the scheduled delivery date.

How much space is needed for the delivery of my building?

Your new building will be delivered using a large truck and a 30-foot trailer. The total length of the truck and trailer is approximately 50-feet and requires a minimum height and width clearance of 14-feet. Due to size restrictions, our delivery professionals must have clear access to the delivery location and plenty of room to maneuver. The immediate area must be clear of trees, overhead wires, ditches, etc.

Is the delivery professional able to cross someone else’s property during the delivery process?

If the delivery driver must cross property owned by someone other than the customer, the adjoining property owner must sign a release form before delivery can be scheduled. To download the release form, click here.

What if I do not own the property on which my new building is to be placed?

If the building is to be placed on property that is owned by someone other than the customer, the property owner must sign a release form before delivery can be scheduled. To download the release form, click here.

Who is responsible for removing obstructions?

If the delivery location contains any obstructions that will interfere with the delivery of your new Cook shed, it’s the customer’s responsibility to remove those obstructions prior to delivery.

What about permits and anchoring?

Any required permits or anchoring necessary to comply with local or state ordinances or regulations are the customer’s responsibility and should be arranged prior to delivery.

Will the delivery professional level my building?

Our free delivery service includes proper leveling of your building to ensure that doors and windows function properly. Our delivery personnel will place your building on level ground and adjust the height to a maximum of 6 inches by using provided pressure treated wood shims. Buildings over 24-feet in length must be placed directly on level ground, gravel or a concrete pad. All site preparation is the customer’s responsibility and must be completed prior to delivery.
